What a Crazy Short Week

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!
This week was a little nuts.. Amber had school Mon and Tues and was off Wed, Thurs and Friday.. It was nice cause I didn't have to do alot of running.. Steve was off on Wed and it was nice cause my friend Mindy and I went to Kmart to pick all the toys up that we had on layaway for the kids.. Then after we were done with that we went to walmart to pick up a few toys that were cheaper then Kmart. It was nice to go out and not have the kids tagging along. I really needed mommy time.

Thursday we went to Mom and Dad's for Thanksgiving.. It was really nice to spend it with them. Yesterday the kids and I decorated the house inside and out.. We are just waiting for Daddy to put lights on the gutters of the house. I decided that I would run to Walmart at 4am to get some good deals on things.. It was so crazy.. After pushing through everyone to get what I wanted I ended up waiting on the checkout line for about an hour.. It was nuts but I'm sure i will do it again next year.. So now I can officially say I'm done Christmas shopping for the kids.

Today I took the kids back to Walmart to see Santa.. I told them that they need to tell him what they want for Christmas.. So surprisingly Amber and Korey both sat on his lap and told him. I was really surprised.. Amber said she wanted a DS and Kory said he wanted a Bike. So we will see what Santa will being them..

Weekend News

So this weekend was kind of crazy.. I brought the kids to mom's house on Friday night for them to stay for the weekend.. Steve went up North hunting with dad.. So I was making two trips everyday to and from mom's house.. I put about 400 miles on the car. But we did shopping and got some Christmas Presents.. It was alot of running but i had fun. Mom said the kids were good but of course when I get there they start acting out.

Dad and Steve got home Sunday afternoon and of course with no deer in hand.. But at least they saw a few but they were to far to shoot.. So maybe next year.

This morning I woke up to snow on the ground.. Yuk!!! So Steve and I went outside to clear the driveway.. I love having a big driveway but I hate having to clear the snow off of it.. And the snow was so heavy that the snow blower kept stopping.. So we took the shovel out..

This week is gonna be crazy to.. Amber has school Mon and Tues.. But Monday she has Daisy's right after school and then comes home to est dinner and then off to religion.. The kids are off from school Wed, turkey day and Friday. Steve is off on Wed and Thursday so we are gonna try to get our Christmas Decorations done.. The kids are excited that we are gonna be putting them up..

What A Birthday

Yes.. Today is my 31st birthday.. I know.. Im getting old. Well I went back to the ENT to have my vocals checked out again and I still have a growth on it. So now I have to go get another scope put into my vocals to see how it it effecting them. Then I also have to contact my Community Hospital and go for speech therapy. Fun!! SO hopefully the speech Therapy works.. But i really don't know how it will teach me to use my voice.. I am always screaming at the kids..hahaha.. So Happy Birthday to me..

When I was drivin home from Kim's house it started snowing and the roffs are covered and some grass.. So hopefully that's it for the season.. (I wish)..

Weekend News

This past weekend was nice with a little relaxation. On Sat the kids and I took a ride to mom's house and spent a little time there. Alex, Brianna. & Jared were over there for the weekend. So we decided to take a ride to visit and see them.. With school and our schedules we don't get to see each other often. Amber ended up staying the night to play with her cousins. Korey and I headed home. Steve was not home yet so Korey and I snuggled on the couch together and relaxed. When daddy got home and we ate dinner. After we ate dinner.. Korey started to get sick. He was so sick all night. Then on Sunday he was fine.. so we are not to sure what that was about. But at least he is doing better.

Sunday Steve and Dad had gone to do a side job for a friend of my Mom's. So after Korey and I got Dressed we headed back over to Mom's house for breakfast. When we got there Kim was there and Dad and Steve walked in. So Mom, Kim and I went to Kmart to do a little Christmas shopping. And yes I know it's early but Kmart was having a family and friends day where we can get 10% off and then Steve's discount on top of that. But of course there is always a catch. So someitmes we only got 10%. But we still saved a good amount. Needless to say I think Amber and Korey are gonna be really happy with there presents and I'm still not done. After we got home from Kmart... It was time for dinner but Mom and I were not hungry.. So we decided to take a ride to Kohl's to look for a winter Jacket for me.. It got really cold out. So I ended up finding one and Mom and Dad bought it for me for my Birthday. THANKS MOM & DAD!!
And now here we are today.. Monday again and back to more running around.

What a Yucky Day Out!

Today is s day where I just want to stay in my PJ's all day but of course that's not gonna happen.. The past couple of days have been so beautiful out and now today it's raining and it's gonna get cold out. Yesterday my good friend Ashely took us the park by her house to take some family photos and photos of the kids. I'm real excited to see how they come out. I have to say Amber was very good listening and Korey was good for the most part. I actually thought he would have been worse. Thanks Ashley!!

After the photo Shoot e headed back to Ashely's for Dinner. She had made a Chicken Casserole. It was so good. Yummy!!

This weekend we really don't have to much planned. Sat Steve is working so I will be home with the kids relaxing. Sunday We will be going to Mimi and Papa's so Mimi and Mommy can go do a little Christmas Shopping.. And yes I know it's early but Kmart is having an Family and Friends day where we can get Steve's discount on top of another 10%.. So how could I pass that up.. But I have been shopping around on the Internet to find the best prices on toys..

Well I hope everyone has a good weekend oh and I'm posting a pic of Steve's head when we went to the Halloween Bash at Amber's school. Obviously you can see how bald he is getting from us ..LOL But I love it..

Weekend News

So this weekend Amber had a Halloween B-day party to go to. She said she had so much fun. Then after the party mimi and papa came over to go with us to the Halloween Bash at Amber's school. I have to say the kids had a lot of fun but it was a bit dull. There really wasn't much to do. But the kids were in a Halloween Costume contest and Korey won 3rd place for his age group. So he was excited. The kids ran and danced all night but were real tired when we got home.

Sunday we just stayed home a relaxed all day with the exception of Amber and I running to the gas station to get eggs. After we came home we put our PJ's back on made some cupcakes and brownies and relaxed some more. It was real nice to do nothing.

Tonight amber has religion class. She couldn't wait to go back to school today.
My friend Ashely takes really great pics.. so tomorrow after school we are gonna take the kids to the park and take pics. Once I get them I will post.

Happy Halloween

Today is so beautiful out. It's like a summer day compared to what it's been. On Thursday the kids and I took a ride to pick up my neice so she can spend a few days with us. It's really nice having her here and the kids have so much fun. A friend of mine had told me that they are having a trick or traet a a food store called Piggly Wiggly in the next town today. So I will be taking the kids there. Tomorrow Amber has a B-day party to go to and she has to wear her costume. Then after the B-day party she is having a Halloween Bash up at her school. So we will be going there as well. It's really cute for the kids. I like the flashlight candy hunt out on the playground. We had so much fun doing it last year.

I think for Sunday we are just gonna hang around the house. It has been a long two weeks. So we need some down time. I hope everyone has a nice weekend.

So This Brings Me To Today

Amber started religon classes and goes every Monday. She always asks when she has to go cause she just loves it. We re waiting for Daisy's to start agian this year..

Korey had a stomach bug so he has not been feeling to hot lately. I kept him home from school today just to relax. But Korey is back to himself. I know this cause now he is getting into trouble..LOL

Amber is at school. I had asked Amber's freinds mom to pick her up yeasterday so I didn't have to take Korey out. Thanks Jenivive!!



I started working at a bar in the summer cleaning in the early mornings. I have a friend that works with the other lady who cleans the bar and she had mentioned that I was looking for something like that so she gave her my name and before I knew it I was hired. It's not a bad job and pays really well. I Started off only working 4 days a week but kept telling the other lady Ann that I would take her days if she wanted me to. So about a month ago she had called and said I could have her days. So now I am working 7 days a week there. To me it's the perfect job cause i am home when the kids go to bed and I am home when they get up in the morning. But I am tired alot cause i usualyy go in for 4am so I can be done by 6:30am. It only takes me about 2 hours to clean it. But I try to take my naps during the day with Korey. And the best part is I am still able to be a stay at home mom and do things with the kids. If I need a break All I have to do is call Ann and she will cover me.. Thanks Kami!!

Now we are all caught up

This past week a friend and I had gone to see New Kids On the Block at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. I had so much fun. We needed a mommies night out. They were so great!! Thanks Mindy!

This past weekend our towns do Trick or Treating. I know.. Halloween isn't until the 31st. But for some reason they all have special days and times. So on Saturday the kids and I went to Kim's house and did a meet and treat in her town. Meet and treat is where you go into the stores on the main road for candy. Before that I had gone to see my nephew Jared play some Football. He as great. I can see him being a professional quarterback. SO in any case we did the meet and treat and the kids had fun. They got alot of candy.. Yummy!! After that was over we then went to see my niece Brianna play Volleyball. She did an awesome job. Keep up the great work Nan.. Then we went back to Kim's house and relaxed a little bit before heading out to Greenfield where they had there neighborhood trick or treat. It was the area where we lived. Amber didn't remember the house though. So we did that for a couple of hours. Then we headed back to my sisters where I packed the kids up and came home. I was so tired driving home and the kids passed out in a matter of 5 min. So the ride home was quiet.

Then on Sunday they had trick or treating in our town from 1-4pm so my friend Mindy came over with her two boys and we went around here. Then in her town which is Beaver Dam they had Trick or Treating from 4-6pm.. so of course when we were done here we had gone there. But after we where done in Horicon I figured I would take the kids home to relax a bit before heading out again and Korey feel asleep on the couch. So just Amber and i went into Beaver Dam. This weekend was alot of fun for all of us. You should see the amount of candy that we have. Can't wait for the kids to go to bed at night!!! :)

Amber is doing great in school and having so much fun. This year she has homework and spelling tests. She is doing such a wionderful job with her spelling words. We are so proud of her. Just yesterday she went to a pumpkin farm with her class.. It was really cold and windy but she had alot of fun. Korey is doing great in school and wants to go everyday. He is doing speech two times a week again this year and is really improving. So he is pretty much busy everyday except Friday's. When he gets out of school he tells me everything that he has done.

September

Well it's that time again.. School.. And this year Korey is going. So Amber is now in First grade. WOW!! We just can't believe it. She has a male teacher this year but she seems to love it. She is so much more independent to.
Korey is starting a preschool which is Tuesday and Thursdays. He is so excited. He just can't wait.

Amber's 6th Birthday

Yes.. that's right our little girl is growing up. We cant believe that she is 6 already. Time just flies. For Amber's birthday we we had Aunt Kimmy, Uncle Henry, Alex, Brianna and Jared come over for a BBQ. The kids got to play in the water and play on the slip and slide while the adults just sat back and relaxed. Then on that Sunday Mimi and Papa came over for another BBQ. So this lucky little girl had two birthday cakes. Amber loved all of her presents. And of course she received alot of Hannah Montana gifts. She was so excited. Happy Birthday Sweetheart!!

August

On August 8Th we headed on a plane to New York. We wanted to visit our family. We had so much fun. The last time we had gone Korey was alot smaller . He was smiling ear to ear. The whole week prior to the trip all I kept hearing was when are we going on the plane. When we arrived into NY my dad's good friend John had picked us up and drove us to my Aunt's house in Islip. So we got in pretty late. The kids were so exhausted as well as Steve and I.. So during our week in New York we got to see all of our family. We had spent sometime with Aunt Mary ,Aunt Shari, and Gianna. Amber and Gianna had so much fun playing with each other. So that Sunday we had gone to the Long Island Game Farm. The kids loved everything about it. During the week we got to see Grandma Ann and Grandpa Lew. The kids had a blast with them. We had gone to there condo on the beach and spent time there. The kids loved playing in the sand and going in the ocean water. After the beach we got dressed and headed to Uncle Dave's and Aunt Michelle's to visit. We haven't seen them in a really long time. It was nice to have all the cousins meet. I can't believe how much the boys have grown. We had alot of fun with them. Some days we just stayed home and relaxed. Another day we took the kids to see there great Grandma in the Bronx. It was really nice to see her. After the visit with Great Grandma we had taken the kids to the Bronx Zoo. Boy was it packed. I have never seen it like that. But we made the best of it and had a blast. After the zoo we had gone out to eat for Italian. Yum!!! I was waiting to have that. The Italian food in Wisconsin can not compare to NY. I had gotten in touch with my friend Danny from High School and he had come over to see us. It was great to see him. The last time I saw him was a year ago and before that it had to be at least 8 years. So it's really nice that we keep in touch. The last weekend that we had in NY was our Aunt Shari's b-day. So on Sat we had a BBQ with all the great NY food and with all of our friends. It was nice to be able to just hang and talk to everyone and catch up. The last full day which was Sunday before we left My Aunt Mary and I had taken Amber and Gianna to two more beaches. It was so much fun.. Also during the week we had rented a car so we can go show Amber and Korey where there Mommy and Daddy lived and show them all the different places. I love going to New York.. But I love living here in Wisconsin. Thanks for such a wonderful time everyone!! We miss you so much.

Let's See Where Do I Begin **June & July**

Well since May the kids and I kept busy. The kids and I would go to the Horicon pool at least once a week and sometimes more. They had alot of fun. Korey would of course wander off and I would have to go get him. Amber would always meet up with her friends and go swimming with them. And of course me I really didn't like to get my hair wet but Korey would come up to be and purposely splash water at my head and say " I got your hair wet" and would laugh. Everyday the kids would be asking if we can go to the pool. Well actually they would say the "Horicon Pool" So needless to say next summer I will be buying a season pass. It's well worth it.
Also during the summer I had enrolled the kids in swimming lessons and they both did really great. They loved learning how to swim and the the best part that I liked was that Amber and Korey were both in the same class. They did at one point have the kids try jumping off the diving boards and of course Korey did and Amber wouldn't. Mama was really scared watching the whole thing. Then on the last day of swimming classes they had the kids go down the water slides on the instructors laps.. Amber said no and guess who went.. yup.. Korey again.. I think Amber's problem with the slide was she wanted to go down the slide one day and when she got to the bottom of the pool she went into the water but couldn't get up because of the flow of the water.. So she freaked out. But maybe next summer she will try again.
Other then going swimming and having alot of fun at the pool we pretty much kept busy all summer.

It's been a long time..

I know it has been a while since I last posted on my blog.. Im gonna try to get caught up and keep up with adding new pics and what we have been doing. So here I go.. :)

Crazy Weekend

Well, this weekend was crazy for us but alot of fun. Amber had a blast at her bowling party. She did really good to. It was nice to be able to have her do something like that with the kids from school. And it was even a nice turn out for the amount of kids that came. They all seemed like they had fun. I was mad cause I had ordered 6 pizza's and they were only bringing one out at a time so all the kids had a big gap in between from there first piece to the next and so on. So needless to say I am going to call up today and make a complaint.

After the bowling party, we went with my sister and her family to Country Springs hotel to spend the night and go to the water park. My nephew will be turning 12 on Sunday so he wanted to do this for his birthday instead of having a party with friends. We all had a good time. Amber loved the water park. Korey missed out on the water park because my parents said they would keep him for us so we wouldn't have to go nuts with him. So he slept over there and he was so happy. Korey got to ride the tractor with Papa and he had so much fun. He keeps asking to go back and do it again. My mom said Korey was soooo good and now that I have him home he is soooo bad. So this morning I had said to him that I am going to have him move in with my parents. LOL

On Sunday we had our friends Dave and Tam came over. Dave loves to make gardens so we asked him if he could help us with one. So he brought his tiller over and tilled the ground. So the Garden is all ready to have the seeds planted. But we just have to get a fence cause the dogs keep walking in there. Then we had a BBQ after we were done with the garden. So now I have to go to the store to get veggie seeds. Steve is off on Wed so we will be finishing off the garden then.

So this was a crazy weekend and next weekend will be the same. Saturday I am going rummaging with my mom and and the kids, Then on Sunday We are going to my sisters house for my Nephews birthday to have a BBQ. Then Monday we are having another BBQ for Memorial Day.

What A Beautiful Day

Well today Korey and I went to Walmart to get flowers for the yard. When we came home I cut the grass and then started planting flowers. Korey was having a fun time playing in all the dirt. But he was a big helper. Then he wanted to ride his bike. After we were all done with the flowers we had lunch and then went back outside. He is getting good swinging on the swing himself.

Now we are going to get ready to walk up to Amber's school with our friend Nisa to pick the kids up. Amber loves to walk home from school.

Amber's tooth got loser and yes she still has me feel it everyday. When I tell her that is is more lose she gets so excited. My baby girl is really growing up to fast.

Amber's Daisy's PJ Party

Well we went to the PJ Party in Mayville last night and she was a little disappointed though. She really didn't have fun.. It was fun for the older kids because they were the ones that were bridging to the next troop. So after that I took Amber to McDonald's for Ice Cream with her friend. So it made her night a little better.

Amber will be starting Summer school in June. She decided that she wants to do it cause now she knows that her friends are going. I didn't want to push her but it will be a positive thing for her next year.

Tonight she is having her friend come over to play, so she can't wait for that.

New Info on Amber

Well we just discovered that Amber has her first loose tooth. Every morning and every night she has us feel it to see how lose it is. But I know when it's time for it to come out she will probably be screaming like a little girl..
She has her last day of Daisy's today so she is kind of sad about that. Tomorrow Amber and I are going into Mayville for a PJ Palozza. This is just a little get together with all the Girl Scout troops for the year end party. And yes Amber gets to wear her PJ's.
She is going to have a birthday bowling party on Saturday with her friends. The reason for us doing it so early is so she can have it with her friends from her class being her birthday is in August.
In June She will be starting T-ball and a Track meet. So at least she has some activities to do this summer.

Family Vacation

In august we will be taking a trip to New York. We miss the family and want them to see how much the kids have grown. We plan on taking the kids to the beach since we don't have any real beaches here. We also want to take Amber to see where Steve and I used to live, the city and the Bronx Zoo. Amber is real excited that she will get to see the family. Korey at this point does not understand what is going on. We just know that we have a lot of family and friends to see so we have to set up a schedule as to when we can see everyone.
